About Shelly Wood

Shelly Wood is the founder and owner of Kre8tive Design. She has been involved in event planning and interior design for over 15 years. Formulated in 2000, Shelly began her creative journey by hosting and decorating her friends’ parties. She was always the first one there to help set up, moving things around and always the last one to leave. With her creative mind, she brings ideas to her clients who are unsure of what they really want.

In the corporate arena, Shelly holds a Masters in Business Administration. She worked for a full-service architecture, planning and design firm in The Corcoran-Ota Group. She continues to provide small metro Atlanta companies with business and human resources consulting.

Some of Shelly’s events include Dekalb County International Community School International Day and Field Day, sporting events and banquets with Arabia Mountain High School, Dekalb County Parks and Recreation Centers, as well as the South Dekalb YMCA. Her most recent event was co-hosting the Dekalb County Public Works Golf Tournament banquet. She enjoys planning birthday parties, graduation parties, concert outings, corporate events, and more!
